A new patient came in with concern that when she smiled, she can see wedge like shapes on her teeth. The patient wanted a treatment plan that was less invasive, so Dr. Joseph recommended composite material to cover the missing areas of her teeth where she can see the wedge-like shape. He also recommended a bite splint because when a patient has loss of tooth structure in the shape of a wedge, they are unaware that they are grinding and clenching. After treatment was completed, the patient was happy about the outcome.
